Important Message

Dear Timber Rose Guests,

We regret to announce that effective December 6, 2009, the Timber Rose Lodge
closed for business. Over the past two years business has declined
dramatically. With no immediate end to the economic downturn in sight, we
had no choice but to close the Lodge. It was time for our family and for
the Timber Rose to go in a new direction.

Words cannot adequately express our sincere appreciation for your support
over the past nine and a half years. We feel very blessed to have made so
many friends and acquaintances while operating the lodge. Many of you are
now part of our extended family.

Debra is in the process of looking for employment. She's made numerous
contacts through her business and volunteer activities, so we're confident
she will find something soon. George is Operations Director for Timber Tops
LLC (the best place to rent a cabin in the Smokies, www.yourcabin.net).
Cameron is growing up fast. He's now eleven years old and in the 5th grade.
